Storage

CCG provide a large range of storage solutiongs, from USB (Universal Serial Bus), TAPE Drive, NAS (Network-Attached Storage), to SAN (Storage Area Network).

USB (Univeral Serial Bus)

The small 2.5inch USB external drive is most commonly used due users simply being able to disconnect the device and storing away.

USB Backup Device

 TAPE Drive

A hardware device used to store and restore data from disk to magnetic tape and from magnetic tape back to disk.

NAS (Network-Attached Storage)

A NAS device is a server that runs an operating system specifically designed for handling files (rather than block data). NAS is accessible directly on the LAN (local area network). NAS systems contain one or more hard disks, it also removes the responsibility of file serving from other servers on the network. Suitable for home and business.

Netgear NAS Device

Low-End SAN (Storage Area Network)

A high-speed subnetwork that interconnects different data storage devices with associated data servers for a medium to large network. SANs support disk mirroring, backup and restore, archival and retrieval of archived data, data migration from one storage device to another, and the sharing of data among different servers in a network. Benefits include the ability to allow servers to boot from the SAN.

Low-End SAN Device

High-End SAN (Storage Area Network)

As the Low-End SAN except the High-End SAN can support an extreme number of hard disks, which also supports disk mirroring, backup and restore, archival and retrieval of archived data, data migration from one storage device to another, and the sharing of data among different servers in a network. Benefits include the ability to allow servers to boot from the SAN.
